Joy

Choosing joy is one of the most courageous things we can do. The world offers plenty of reasons to become cynical or overwhelmed, yet I believe delight has the power to soften us and draw us back to one another. My work isn't interested in pretending life is easy. Instead, it looks for moments worth celebrating anyway. I hope the people who encounter my work feel permission to laugh, play, and remain open to the possibility that joy can exist alongside grief, uncertainty, and change.
